Prenatal visits are scheduled frequently during pregnancy to ensure personalized care and attention. During each appointment, I will do a thorough check-up, nutritional counseling, and guidance on exercise and relaxation techniques. For added convenience, I facilitate all blood draws for necessary lab work, creating a seamless and comfortable experience tailored to your needs right in your home.

At Lux Home Birth, I believe the body operates at its best when in perfect alignment. Recognizing the significance of proper alignment, your all-inclusive global fee encompasses weekly chiropractic care throughout your entire pregnancy, and extends to 6 weeks postpartum for both you and your baby. Adjustments will be done by Dr. Logan, my husband at Upright Chiropractic in Dewey, Arizona. 

In addition to your prenatal care, our sessions will feature exclusive childbirth education classes tailored for you and your partner, conveniently held in the comfort of your own home. This unique setup provides you with the freedom to address any questions, no matter how silly or embarrassing, in a private and intimate setting, ensuring you get the personalized support you need.

Belly henna tattoo is a sacred and symbolic way to honor the journey of motherhood. The intricate design lasts about 1-3 weeks, serving as a unique and artistic reminder. Belly henna is more than body art—it’s a ritual of self-love, empowerment, and embracing the sacred journey of bringing life into the world. I offer a complimentary henna tattoo or belly cast around 36 weeks.  

You deserve to feel like the goddess you are! I painted this beautiful memento from a cast I did on my best friend during her pregnancy. This optional experience is a beautiful way to honor your body and the incredible life you’re creating. It offers a moment of reflection, empowerment, and connection, leaving you with a meaningful keepsake to cherish forever. 

Birth pool and supplies are included in the global fee at no additional charge. You will be surrounded by the tranquility of a picture-perfect white home birth tub, complete with a carefully placed liner and drop cloth. The ambiance is adorned with water-safe floating candles, creating a soothing and romantic environment.

Your labor and birth journey will be accompanied by unwavering support, encompassing emotional reassurance, physical comfort measures, and expert guidance for a secure and fulfilling birthing experience. I bring all essential equipment for a safe labor and delivery for both you and your baby. Any lacerations requiring stitches will be done with numbing agents, right in your bed!

After birth, a gentle newborn exam, and the timeless gesture of capturing your newborn's footprints will be performed. All paperwork for your baby, including birth certificate, social security filings, and screening will be done in the comfort and convenience of your home as you heal and bond with your baby. 

Your placenta is a powerful, natural product made by your body—100% tailored to your unique needs. Encapsulation allows you to retain its incredible benefits, helping to restore balance and support your postpartum recovery. Complete postpartum care after delivery includes health checks for both you and your baby. Breastfeeding support and screenings for postpartum depression as well as referrals for extra support as indicated are included.
